Treble Chamber Choir AUDITIONS:
Auditions for treble choir will re-open after the retreat. All students are now eligible to audition.
First Steps: before you can sign-up to audition, you must
1) complete the MyMusicianship proficiency tests Units 1-4
2) RECORD and submit to schoology Vocal Assessment SA#5&6
* 1/2 step exercise
* scales and triads
Second Step: Live audition
1) sing live the above vocal assessment #5&6 without piano help
2) 4 sing-backs like this levels 2-5
3) a sight-singing like unit 3 MyMusicianship
4) play 'follow the leader' with someone already in the group.
Be sure to practice all of the above, a lot, until you can just do them.
Practicing will improve your skills no matter what, even if you don't become strong enough for the cut-off this time, you'll still be improved from where you were.
